CAPTURE has been nominated by the European Commission for the EU Regiostars award 2019.

The Centre for Advanced Process Technology for Urban Resource Recovery, better known as CAPTURE, is a unique vehicle that aims at developing breakthrough technologies for the circular economy. More specifically, focus is on the fields of 'water-fir-for-use', 'plastics to resource' and 'CO₂ to product'. CAPTURE is driven by knowledge partners who are closely interacting with industry and policy makers. Currently, also a CAPTURE accelerator infrastructure is being built at TechLane Ghent.
